Upon contact you will be sent our ‘Terms of Engagement’ which is designed to identify what you require us to inspect, as well as give our potential customers an insight on how the survey will be completed.
All the information is gathered and photographs of issues are taken. This is then compiled into a report for your reading.
The report itself is laid out in sections for ease of reading, such as;
Introduction – A brief description of the property, with what we have been tasked at inspecting according to our correspondence.
Observations – What we found during the inspection. We aim to find all issues relating to damp, where possible.
Recommendations – An explanation of how to treat any known defects found.
Work Schedule – Here we outline what the recommended work will entail with costings and any other relevant information.
Floor plan – With some surveys a floor plan of where the work will be completed.
Overview – At the end of the report we may include some aftercare advise, as well as any additional terms of our service.
As with all surveys there are limitations on what we can find, however we aim to be as thorough and accurate as possible.
